Movie Magic

Morning at Robs house was interesting. I woke up and feasted on a bowl of fruity pebbles. I talked to rob and his wife about my plans on getting a job on a boat, and they had a few helpful suggestions. The only problem was that Rob and his wife were having an argument, and they both were just dying to know where I stood on it. I tried to keep my nose down and do my job research, and after a while Rob took me to the train station.
Overlooking the tracks
I got my ticket and the train rolled in a few minutes later, about an hour on the train landed me in LA, where I snagged a subway to the hostel I had scoped out online. It was on Hollywood Bvld right across from the subway terminal. I walked in and asked if there was someone I could talk to about working there. I had to wait a few hours, which I used to do some reading since the internet and my computer apparently are mortal enemys now. I met Carlo who told me that I could work for a few days, and even work some extra hours to pocket some cash. He wouldn't let me stay longer than 3 days since I am American, and after 2 weeks I would be able to claim residency and he would have to legally evict me to get me to leave. He was def doing me a favor by letting me work and stay there, so I am still appreciative.
Inside the hostel
I spent the rest of the day lounging around the hostel, finishing Fight Club, and tiding up my gear. Tomorrow I will get up and be at the front desk by 10 to start my first day, and my down time I will go to a museum or something, and I plan on having my resume for the cruz ship and all my research done before I leave in 3 days.
